HIGH INTENSITY FOCUSED ULTRASOUND (HIFU)

• Focused ultrasound energy is delivered non-invasively and heats deep tissue without affecting the surface of the skin. This causes a natural, regenerative response. Unlike other types of ultrasound, there will be a sensation of heat.
  – A natural, regenerative response is initiated, stimulating the growth of new collagen, which lifts the skin over time. Results build gradually over 2-3 months and can continue to improve up to 6 months post-procedure.

How is HIFU different from Lasers and RF?

– Lasers and RF typically involve improving superficial layers of the skin (e.g. fine lines, wrinkles, pigment changes).
– HIFU addresses the deep skin layer and the foundational layer addressed in cosmetic surgery that lends support to the skin.
